The midfielder believes that "it's vital to score" in the Cup
semifinal return leg against Real Madrid
Cesc Fàbregas talked to Barça TV and fcbarcelona.com ahead of the decisive Cup showdown against Real Madrid: “we had our chances to make it 0-2 in Madrid [on the away leg]. In the return leg we have to be as effective as possible, because they are very effective. We have to be on target in front of goal if we want to get to the final.”
The midfielder went on to indicate that “it’s vital to score, we cannot go into the match and wait to see what happens. In last year’s Cup Clásico return leg - we had a good result from the away leg - and we were nearly eliminated from the competition.Madrid are very dangerous and in order to go through we’ll have to play the best football we’re capable of.”

“Our fans were spectacular when we lost to Chelsea and Madrid last season. In all my years as a Culé, I had never seen anything like it. This team has changed the mentality of our members and fans, and that’s priceless,” said Cesc when asked about the end of the season last year.
The midfielder added: “We aren’t the type of team that likes to complain to the press. There are things that have to be said, but we’ll do our talking on the pitch. Leo is the best when it comes to this. He’s very strong mentally and physically. What he wants to do it play, enjoy the game and win.”
